When not serving aces and smashing volleys, Sania likes to express her personality through the cheeky T-shirts she wears to her post-game press conferences. Among the messages she's worn across her chest are "I'm Cute?", "Don't Get in My Way," and "Well-Behaved Women Rarely Make History."

In her spare time, Sania claims that she likes "being at home, because I am hardly at home; I am always traveling. I like staying at home, just watch a movie at home. Surf the Net.

Sania Mirza is famous for her style, fashion and looks (like many other tennis stars), Sania Mirza creating big waves on the tennis courts. Born in City of Mumbai in India, and coming from Hyderabad, Sania Mirza, the youth icon of India is creating history in Tennis worldwide.

She won the tournament (partnering with Alisa Kleybanova) to become the youngest Indian and the first Indian woman to win a junior Grand Slam title in 2003, Junior Wimbledon Championships doubles.
 
Sania Mirza became the youngest Indian to win a WTA or ATP tour title and the first Indian woman to capture a WTA tour title 2004 Hyderabad Open doubles. She became the first Indian woman to reach the 3rd round of a Grand Slam tournament in 2005 Australian Open singles.

She reached 4th round by defeating Marion Bartoli of France in straight sets and voted Best Player of the day on the 3rd day for winning her 2nd round match of 2005 US Open.

She Won the tournament defeating Alyona Bondarenko of Ukraine the final and became the first Indian woman to capture a WTA singles title in 2005 Hyderabad Open singles.
 
She is now the highest ranked female tennis player ever from India and currently stands at the 35TH position in the WTA as on 17/05/2006.

In 2005, she was honored with the Arjuna award by the Indian government for the year 2004.
