India’s ace female tennis star Sania Mirza was pulled in another controversy on Wednesday as Andhra Pradesh police withdrew the security provided to her. The reason for the decision is said to be the non-payment of 2.5 lakh rupees by her to the authorities.

She had not replied to or made the payments despite two notices being sent to her by the AP police. In the end, the cops had to remove the cover provided to her due to her celebrity status.

She is presently recovering from an injury that kept her out of action in the ongoing French Open.
