Paes drops, Sania, Mahesh steady in tennis rankings

India’s Leander Paes has dropped four points to 24th position while compatriot and former doubles partner Mahesh Bhupathi has retained his position at 13th spot in the Association Tennis Professional (ATP) men’s doubles ranking issued Monday. Another Indian Rohan Bopanna has climbed up one rung to 55th position.
Meanwhile, Sania Mirza has clung on to her 31st position in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) singles rankings. The 21-year-old tennis star has moved up one place in the doubles ranking to 21st position.
